 Community Roots Forest Summer School!

Held Monday - Friday during dates listed below. Enroll for 1 week or as many as you would like! Camp sessions will be broken into groups according to age.

Time for all sessions is from 8:30am - 11:00am

Weekly cost: $150.00 per week.

*Ask for information on flexible enrollment (ie. monthly enrollment, or specific days)

Students will be grouped according to age:

2yrs - 4 preschool program

5 - 7 early elementary

8 - 11 elementary

Monday - Wednesday 8:30am - 11:00am

Forest: June 5th - 7th

Monday - Wednesday - Meet at South End of Inlet Park (You will see the Community Roots Sign held by Mrs. Ty). This is an introduction camp for forest school! We will be making a clock from the sun, learning to weave with soft branches, and making nature based creations!

* Tea and snack will be provided.

Seeds: June 12th - 14th

Monday - Wednesday - Meet at South End of Inlet Park (You will see the Community Roots Sign held by Mrs. Ty) - Exploring Nature, how plants grow, baby animals, and more!

* Tea and snack will be provided.

Roots: June 19th - 21st

Monday - Wednesday - Meet at the South End of Inlet Park (Community Roots Sign will be held by Mrs. Ty) This camp will focus on our connection with the earth and others, our roots! We will honor a family member of the students choosing on Friday and celebrate the legacy of life and generations past! We will learn about plant roots and animal classes!

* Tea and snack will be provided.

Branches: July 10th - 12th

Monday - Wednesday - Meet at the South End of Inlet Park (Community Roots Sign will be held by Mrs. Ty) This camp will focus on growing! How beautiful it is that trees grow towards the light. What is needed for growth, how plants and animals depend on one another and how we can help others and the earth to continue growing to be our best selves!

Leaves: July 17th - 19th

Monday - Wednesday - Meet at the South End of Inlet Park (Community Roots Sign will be held by Mrs. Ty) . Have you ever heard of Fibonacci’s spiral? How does math play into nature? Taking a closer look at the veins in the leaves, petals on flowers, sunlight and more! Students will be painting with natures colors, tracing, and becoming a student of the earth!

World: July 24 - 26th

Monday - Wednesday - Meet at the South End of Inlet Park (Community Roots Sign will be held by Mrs. Ty) . Let’s Celebrate our special Earth and all the unique fruits and vegetables and fun traditions from other cultures!

We will take a break June 22nd- July 9th.

There will be no camps during August to prepare for the upcoming Forest School Year!

Fall Courses Begin September 6th for the Fall- Spring School Year.

Additional Summer opportunities will be added as spaces fill.

Forest Family Camp Out’s

Spend the night under the stars with those you love, connect, laugh, learn and play together!

Family Camp Night held Monthly during the following months:

Cost (Includes meals and activities) $ 200 for a family of 4 per night. Most camps are 1 night and 2 days. Additional guests $50 per person. Ages 18 months and younger free.

Camp Starts at 5:00pm Friday and ends between 1 - 3pm Saturday depending on the duration of the family activities and hiking.

Meals Provided: Dinner on Friday, Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday.

June 16th - 17th 2023 - Spanish Fork (Diamond Fork Canyon)

July 21st - 23rd 2023 - Duschene (Yellowstone State Park)

August 5th - 6th 2023. - Eagle Mountain ( Utah lake overlook)
